post off: what's your favorite halloween candy?
Living in a New York City apartment I don’t get too many trick-or-treaters. I think in my 7 years here I’ve had 2 total. Needless to say, there is not much point in me buying bags of Halloween candy. (I’d just end up eating it all myself!) However, growing up in the suburbs we would go through bags and bags of the mini candy bars in just a few hours. I always made sure my mom had an extra bag of mini Milky Ways — my all time favorite. What is your favorite Halloween candy? Are you a peanut butter cup fanatic, or more inclined to indulge in a snickers snack? — Erica P.
It’s been ages since I’ve eaten candy, but my favorites were: candy corn, pb cups, snickers, and special dark miniatures. :) Nice question!
By far what you posted is my fav. Peanut butter cups. But those little bit sized ones are the death of me. They fool me into thinking I haven’t eaten much.
I enjoy it all, but deep-down I’m a classic candy corn girl!
wax lips, banana taffy and 100Grands -stuff I’d only ever get at halloween.
I will ALWAYS steal the SweeTarts from my kids’ bags — and sneak a few Reese’s, too, if I can get away with it.
Fun-size Nestle Crunch! They’re thicker than the full-size bars, which I like better.

hm, well I like the ones they don’t necessarly have year around in fun size like 100 Grands, Reese Pieces, sweet tarts. etc. If they have halloween packaging I love them more.

I like when normally thin bars are made thicker.
For some reason I prefer the taste that way.
I like Baby Ruth and Oh Henry’s – you can never find Oh Henry’s!
It’s gotta be a Snickers, but with one caveat: you must freeze it first. Nothing beats that. Next best would be peanut butter cups.
@Cherlin: I just had a fun-size Vosges Naga bar at lunch today! Can you imagine hitting the jackpot and finding a home giving away fun-size Vosges for Halloween???
