steal this idea: tightly grouped wall art

Apartment Therapy included this photo in a recent house tour. Not only do I love the artwork, but I love how it’s displayed. Tightly grouping a few similarly colored pieces is an excellent way to create a big impact with smaller artwork. And since they’re all bumped up against each other, it’s a lot easier to figure out how to hang them all straight, too! The home in question is definitely worth a look beyond that, so see the entire house tour here. –Mary T.

No ma’am. That feels far too chaotic for me. Even a small amount of breathing room — say, 2″ around each piece — would be better, to me. I love each of those pieces in the photo, though!

I agree with Tasha–that arrangement is not for me–but, to each his own! I do agree that the rest of the house is well worth a visit. It’s so perfectly edited yet full of personality. I haven’t decided if it’s inspiring or discouraging

I love it! Of course, you have to have the kind of eye that can pick what would go together. I do not, but maybe I could get an artist friend to help me.
I loved this the first time I saw it!

Exactly the way I arranged the pictures in my living room!
