Friends of ours just gave us a Tovolo Splash magnetic bottle opener as a belated Christmas present (Belated from 2007!) and it was worth the wait. It’s simple, durable, and functional: super-strong magnets hold the opener in place on your fridge, and also catch the cap that flips off your bottle. Sounds minor, but feels ingenious.
