I first saw Patricia Urquiola’s “frilly chair” over on designboom, but now it seems that I see it everywhere I look. I recently divulged my desire to replace my boyfriend’s functional, ergonomic office chair for a more stylish one. I think I found my chair! The “frilly” chair was launched through design giant Kartell and is now available in a slew of fantastic colors. I couldn’t find the price on the Kartell site, but a little searching on the web revealed a $300 price tag. A bit steep for this economy, but my fingers are crossed it will go on sale this holiday season. — Erica P.
