indie craft shows for holiday shopping

We love the indie craft fairs, and there are tons of them to check out this weekend and next. Here are the ones on our radar — submit your own in comments!

LA region:
BUST Magazine Holiday Craftacular, December 6 at The Echoplex in LA. Stuff your stockings with selections from hundreds of nationwide crafters.

Handmade Brigade, December 6, Tall Mouse Arts and Crafts in Cerritos. The family-owned independent craft store hosts their second indie craft fair.

Nucleus Co-Lab Holiday Art/Craft Fair, December 14 at Nucleus in Alhambra. This event is Tula-approved, so you know it will be a good one.

London, UK:
BUST Magazine Holiday Craftacular, December 6 at St. Aloysius Social Club. The Craftacular goes international!

No-Coast Craft-o-rama, December 5-6 at the Midtown Global Market. Get unique goods at this craft show which has been going strong since 2005.

BUST Magazine Holiday Craftacular, December 14 at Metropolitan Pavilion. The NYC version of the LA Craftacular.

Portland, OR:
Crafty Wonderland Super Colossal Holiday Sale, December 14 at the Doug Fir Lounge. The monthly craft show hosts its holiday blowout, which CNN and Budget Travel lauded last year.

San Francisco/Oakland:
Feria Urbana, December 13 at Pizzaiola, Oakland, CA. Clothing, jewelry, accessories, and more from indie crafters in the Bay Area.

Urban Craft Uprising, December 6-7 at Seattle Center. This is the big annual show from this community of crafters, with the best regional vendors and some from as far away as Boston and Toronto. UCU promises avant-garde creations and includes book signings and swag bags.

More, more, more? Tell us what we’re missing, and check out even more upcoming craft shows.

Lots of crafters as well as old vintage/music/awesome things at…

What a great place to get those last minute holiday gifts! It’s that time again for the semi-annual (twice a year) PUNK ROCK FLEA MARKET. Our most popular reoccurring event/show/whatever (by far). All proceeds raised will goto the purchase of necessary equipment and supplies to ensure that all ages shows continue to remain a reality at The First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia – mainly the remaining payment for our new liability insurance policy. Do not let the name lead you to believe that it’s just punk records, clothes etc. – it’s a full on flea market with everything from furniture, to laptops / computers , to stereo equipment, to handmade apparel, to vegan treats, information from various non profit groups, book stores, artists selling their work, bicycles & skateboards and whatever else we can fit onto the ballroom floor at The Starlight Ballroom.

In addition to the normal flea market stuff there will also be a full bar and food service kitchen to make the day go by a little faster.

Stitch Rock already passed but there are some mini’s with one coming up 20 December in Delray Beach.

And on the other side of the state in Sarasota the Atomic Holiday Bazaar was yesterday:
