my xmas wish list: angela m

This year, time and money seem to be on short supply for us all, but we still thought it’d be fun to share a few of things we’d like to find under the tree. But please, tell us what you’re hoping for! You never know, Santa could be one of our readers. ; – )

Angela M’s wish list

We need a new pasta pot after our old one was mistakenly burnt (I’m not naming names!). One that would last forever would be nice. How bout an All-Clad stainless steel multi-pot? Comes with a steamer and a would be great for soups, too.

I don’t think I can make it through the winter without hot baths. I’m plum out of my favorite Bigelow cold and flu soak (and I could really really use it right now!). Some Dr. Hauschka lavender bath oil would also be heavenly.

I’m not really the jewelry kind, but I’m craving a little gold charm that somehow commemorates Isadora’s birthday. Perhaps one of these Heather Moore personalized charm necklaces?

Last but not least, cashmere socks would make me really happy. I have one pair now that I’ve worn until there are holes in the heels. They’re so great to layer under boots in the cold.

What’s on your list? I bet it’s more exciting than mine. Please share!

I got the All-Clad pot last year for Christmas and I LOVE it! I use it every time I make pasta, which is at least once a week. I haven’t used the steamer yet (I still use those little collapsible baskets), but I still love having it!

My list is a new iPod (a nano, preferably, or a Touch), a new wool coat and gear to start training for a half-marathon in the fall.

I love cashmere socks, they’re so great on cold days.

I have that pasta pot/steamer, but not the All-Clad version. Mine cost about 40 dollars from Linens N Things, and I love it! It works great both as a quick boil and with long simmers. If you don’t get the expensive one for a gift, save some money and go economical – it’s still a great pot
