a special touch from the folks at anthropologie

I purchased a Christmas present at Anthropologie yesterday, and I think I am more excited about the packaging than anything else. When I asked the woman at the register for a box that fit the present, she put together a little package of items and tossed them into my shopping bag. I was thrilled to find this adorable button-adorned ribbon to jazz up the simple brown box. I’m sure I could wrap the present in pretty paper first, but I actually like the contrast between the colorful buttons and the muted box. I only wish I had asked for an extra one! –Erica P.

they *do* do neat wrapping. Last year, I ordered a gift from them and had it wrapped, and it came with the neatest green yarn-y ribbon and a thick felt snowflake attached.

This is really smashing… so simple, and at the same time unusual, eye-catching, and colorful.
