I always wash carefully - cold water, gentle/short cycle, woolite, etc - but the color didn't stand up to laundering. And not in a nice way, like a cozy all over fade, but in a blotchy, patchy way. I wasn't impressed. But an all white/cream set hopefully wouldn't have that problem. Aside from the color issue, the linen did get softer.
