Has anyone else heard more about this story? I am really appalled about Shoshanna and Grace, and absolutely want to cancel my subscription if their ouster is official. Can't find any other blogger posting about this more recently either. Any suggestions? Thanks.

[...] 3. It seems that none of our favorite magazines are safe in these tough times. Apparently Ready Made, one of favorites, faces an uncertain future: Leah wrote: “A few weeks ago, word came down that the magazine — minus its founders and its entire editorial staff — was being moved to Meredith HQ in Des Moines, Iowa. The staff was literally locked out shortly after that — they couldn’t even access their email. Suffice it to say, I think you’ll be seeing a *very* different ReadyMade from here on out. Sad.” See more about the magazine here. [...]

So sad. All these folding magazines are leaving a big gap in my mailbox, and I don't know what to replace them with.

Leah, that is horrible news indeed. This would explain why the current issue isn't online and instead it's still Christmas; I was wondering about that. Thanks for the update. Great...I may have to revisit my whole opinion here. Sigh.
