new uses for lonely socks from orla kiely

Okay, so you know we love Orla Kiely, and here’s a great example of why: Look at this fab idea of hers in the new issue of Rachael Ray magazine. You take a little flower pot and wrap it in a colorful sock. Snip the bottom (the toe) so it rests flat on table. Finally! Something to do with all those unmatched socks in the drawer! — Angela M.
P.S. Come back next week to enter our Orla Kiely at Target giveaway!

oh, if only my socks were cute enough for this idea!
Oh Tula, I hear you. That is SO not going to work with the somewhat greying socks I got in a pack of 5 from Tesco’s…
I guess it defeats the “green” of the idea to go out and buy cute socks for this… but a cute, fuzzy pot of rosemary? What hostess wouldn’t want that?
Such a cute idea – thanks! I have lots of cute socks with holes that I’ve been saving to use for paint rags (someday I will paint my diningroom) or… something, now I have a use.
And I am sooo excited about the Orla Kiely line at Target – going this week-end to stock up. It’s in stores now?
