would you try a recipe from twitter?

Yesterday’s Dining & Wine section of The New York Times featured an interesting story about a cook who tweets recipes on Twitter. That’s right, each one is less than 140 characters, and provides ingredients, instructions and enough details for you to follow. It’s the handiwork of Maureen Evans at Cookbook on Twitter. I’m so intrigued by these extremely brief culinary missiles that I’ve got to try one. There’s one for New Eggplant Parmesan that sounds tempting:
cvr3tom/s+p/3T wine@low7m; puree. Slice/oil2eggplant; 15m@400F/205C. Dip w egg/crumb&s+p. Broil+c parm. Srv on puree.
Or maybe Peanut Butter Stew?
brwn t cumin&coriander/garlic&chili&onion/T oil; +c yam&tater&pep&zuke; simmer15m+can coconut&toms/4T tamari&peanutbutr.
What do you think? Would you try a recipe from Twitter? Is 140 characters enough to make you take the plunge? I admit my biggest concern is time. If I knew these were all 30 minutes or less to make, I might be addicted! Check it out here. –Angela M.
(By the way, you can follow Shelterrific on Twitter, too!)

These something sort of overly technical and…I don’t know…bloodless? about this. I like pretty pictures and helpful descriptions and personal stories.
Probably not. But a link to a recipe from Twitter, now I’d do that.
