Is covering a room in tile awesome or crazy? All I know is, I love it. Trend USA just introduced the Wallpaper collection, 64 patterns in 130 color combinations. You buy the mosaic glass tiles in segments that make it simpler to create a repeating pattern. Each style starts at $23 a square foot. That’s a bit steep, but the patterns are undeniably cool, and you put them on floors, walls — even ceilings! I so want a new bathroom I can put these in. Or any room, really. You love it today, but how about five years from now? Wallpaper may be difficult to remove, but not as difficult as tile.
Personally, I find it a too busy look… I’ve been in houses that use those tiny square mosaic tiles extensively and it kind of overwhelms my eyes and brain.
The beauty of this collection is that it comes in 64 patterns and each pattern is in 3 colorways. Mary has chosen some of the really exciting , bright patterns however Wallpaper is also available in very soft subtle colors and patterns, some with recycled glass in natural shadings.
