A handwritten card really means something to the receiverâ€¦and to the sender.  It genuinely is a statement of caring and sincerity.  While e-cards are better than nothing, you canâ€™t beat a tangible reminder that someone is thinking of you. 		<description>I&#039;ve long thought that the saddest thing about the rise of email and other electronic communication is that the youngest generation is missing out on the thrill of an actual physical handwritten note from a friend or family member.

My daughters are just old enough to remember how wonderful it was to get cards from relatives in the mailbox, but now they only get e-cards.</description>
