five things we learned last week

1) You’re all about the red eaves. Tyna expressed what several of you said: “Wow – what an eye-popping look! Smart idea – can’t wait to see the finished product.” See the eaves painted red.

2) You’re hometown proud. Ita-darling says: “I love my hometown! For being as big as we are, we certainly get the short of end of the design-respect stick! Thanks for covering progressive architecture!” Click for the $99,000 Houston home.

3) Tuna fettucine strikes a chord. Erin says: “This looks sooo good (is it weird that I’ve been craving Tuna Casserole lately???)” Not at all! For a slightly swankier (and lower-fat) version, try the Cooking Light fettucine alfredo with smoked tuna.

4) Who knew that shopping lists as art would be so popular? Bridget {bake at 350} says: “I absolutely LOVE this!” about Shopping Losts. And she’s not the only one!

5) There’s a devoted group of Ironrite fans — and they’re buying and selling in our comments. Remember the post on the Ironrite Mangle Ironer? The comments section is still going strong. Carla and Angie want to buy one, Alicemae has one for sale, and several more people have questions and answers. We hope you all find what you need!
