green fairy-approved: absinthe soap

absinthesoap
Perfect for everyone with a bad reputation on your holiday list, the illicit absinthe is reborn as an invigorating soap. The spirit was a favorite of bohemians Oscar Wilde, Vincent van Gogh, and Toulouse Lautrec, all of whom enjoyed the occasional visit with the “Green Fairy.” From Perpetual Kid, the hand and bath soap retails for $6 and would be a great stocking stuffer or part of a hostess gift. — Katie D.

May I make a suggestion? Give a bottle of absinthe with the soap. Let me tell you- last time I had absinthe things got a little crazy. The next morning I needed the worlds biggest aspirin and a bath in the worst way. I also somehow had a cat and apparently I visited the zoo. Yeah- absinthe, soap, aspirin, a ticket to the zoo, and cat food to ring in the holiday cheer!

By the way – what is on the banner behind shelterrific today? I sure hope its some kind of food because it looks delicious.

T Bone, it’s hard to say because the banner cycles through a few backgrounds, which change when you reload the pic. But a lot of them are food!
