urban paint renewal: the let’s colour project

letscolourbuilding

A little color can have a big positive impact. So imagine how much impact a lot of color can have. The folks at Dulux, Dulux Valentine, Coral, and Marshall decided to find out with the worldwide Let’s Colour Project, a movement about transforming gray spaces into colorful, beautiful sights. They write: “Gray is out. Gloom is gone. It’s time to live our lives in colour.” This video, a time lapse film of their latest project, is nothing short of inspiring. I mean, if they can transform low income neighborhoods in Istanbul, Paris, India, London, and Rio de Janeiro (for starters), I can probably stop dragging my heels and finish painting the foyer. Gloom is so chic though- how can it be out?

Color really can make such a difference. I think this is a great idea.
