real life test kitchen: spinach and caramelized onion tart

tart

It’s been nearly a year since I first found out that I was going to contribute a recipe to a cookbook comprised of blogger-developed recipes for brain-healthy foods. Well, it’s finally time to reveal the recipe I developed for the book and I’m thrilled to be able to do it right here on Shelterrific. Errrr, sort of. To support the amazing folks behind the book I’m sending you over to look at the recipe on the Posit Science site. While you’re over there, take a look around. There are plenty of other fantastic recipes from my fellow bloggers, and tons of great information on brain health. Then come back on over to Shelterrific and leave a comment telling us which recipe you want to try for a chance to win a copy of the ThinkFood Cookbook —Erica P.

Giveaway rules: Visit Posit Science, browse the recipe selection and leave a comment on this post telling us your recipe of choice between now and 12am EST on Sunday, September 26 for a chance to win a copy of the ThinkFood Cookbook. Winners will be selected by random number generator and announced next week!

Your spinach and caramelized onion tart!!! I’m a vegetarian and this just looks divine :)

Michelle

I agree, your spinach and caramelized onion tart looks yummy!

Cathy

Oh it all looks good! But if I had to pick one thing, goat cheese toast with arugala sounds awesome right at this moment. Maybe served with the sardine, chickpea, and celery salad?
I really need to go make lunch.

The Curry Grilled Corn Soup immediately caught my eye! I’ve grilled peaches and curry before, but never thought of corn! And as a soup?? What a comforting thought for an Autumn meal!

Marlana

The spinach/onion tart with the fudge pops for dessert! Thanks for the link!

the garlic salmon over spinach sounds so easy AND healthy – my bf would definitely be a fan.

I’m definitely making the spinach and caramelized onion tart, though I’m interested in the curried wheat berry and tomato salad as well. Congrats!

The garlic salmon over spinach sounds really good!

I think it’s a tie between your tart and the Spicy Almond Soba Noodles! Yum!

The Curried Wheat Berry & Tomato Salad looks great.

This looks so delicious! I just knew I had to make it tonight for dinner–but when I followed the link and tried to pull up the recipe I end up with a blank page. :(

Have you posted this recipe anywhere else? I could try to pull it up there!

Thanks!

Ooh, too hard to choose: Curried Grilled Corn soup, your tart, and then fudge pop for dessert! A full meal of yumminess!

mmm… hard to choose, but that curried corn soup sounds fab, as do the banana oatmeal cookies….

Kim H.

The spinach and caramelized onion tart looks amazing, as does the upcoming spicy portobello chili! And lets not forget, of course, the banana oatmeal cookies ;-)

I just got a new grill and have been grilling out a lot lately so the Mustard and Sage Grilled Pork Tenderloin looks like a good recipe to try. I have a bit of a sweet tooth and have been looking for healthier dessert recipes so the Banana Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies looks like another recipe I’d like to try.
