Sarah L

Sarah Lyons is not at all divided on the subject of paper books or e-books (paper, all the way); prefers collections that don’t need constant dusting; would rather watch birds than people (with a few exceptions); likes watercolors better than oils; wouldn’t mind if her shade garden one day had ferns as tall as the ones she saw at Glendalough, Ireland; is a dog person but that doesn’t mean she has an issue with cats; thinks there’s nothing funny about being a Midwesterner; has laundry she should be doing right now; favors the color yellow; has too many unfinished projects; never misses the Kentucky Derby (but has never been); probably has too much pewter but that doesn’t stop her from buying more; enjoys genealogy when she’s not totally frustrated by genealogy; needs a vacation; can’t carry a tune (although that doesn’t stop her from singing); wishes her dog picked up after himself; wishes she picked up after herself; never reads the end of a book first; is too scared to try a flambe (or is it “to flambe?” Scary, either way); often wonders what the rooms under a gambrel roof look like when she’s out running; wants more reading time; loves Instagram; is still looking for that elusive set of Amelia Earhart luggage; and has no problems making to-do lists. Crossing things off her to-do lists? That’s another matter altogether.
